Important Information Regarding Property Assessments
This may affect your 2027 property taxes
An Open Book Meeting for the above named property taxes is being held from April 6th – May 8th, 2026 – 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The Open Book Meeting will be held at the Carver County Courthouse. During this time, appraisal staff will be there to field any concerns resulting from valuation notices.
Hollywood Township property owners are encouraged to contact the Carver County Assessor’s office should they have any valuation or classification concerns during this timeframe.
The County Board of Appeal and Equalization will meet on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Call by June 1st, 2026 to schedule an appointment. 952-361-1960.
Road Tour
The Hollywood Township Board of Supervisors will be doing their yearly Road Tour on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The tour will leave the township shed at 6 PM.
Garbage Pickup: The township doesn’t provide garbage service. Residents must arrange with a local sanitation company for pickup.

Theft of Township Road Gravel Reported
It has been reported to the township that there is gravel being taken from township roads by private parties. IT IS ILLEGAL TO TAKE GRAVEL OFF THE TOWNSHIP ROADS. ANYONE VIOLATING THIS WILL BE PROSECUTED FOR THEFT. Also if you see this happen, please notify the Carver County Sheriff’s Department and the township. Township residents are paying for this gravel through their taxes.
